Beautiful, serene, and oh so Squatchy. We are going there in 2024 to hook up with our hairy homie and it's going to be an adventure of a lifetime. This area features Wallowa Lake, Eagle Cap Wilderness and the Wallowa Mountains. There have been numerous sightings in and around this area. The sheer beauty of this place makes it one of our favorite destinations to visit!
Per square mile this location has more Bigfoot sightings than anywhere in the country! This is why we have chosen it as a Boise Bigfoot Expedition destination for 2024. In addition to the beauty of the lake and the landscape we have a better chance here than anywhere else in the United States to see the ever elusive Sasquatch.
What do you know! Jack Osbourne and company wrapped up filming in the squatchiest spot in Idaho. This location has more Bigfoot sightings per square mile than any other location in the country. Don't forget to watch the show to see just how squatchy Idaho really is! And yes, we do know exactly where this place is.
At Boise Bigfoot our guided adventures aren't just a hike through the woods. It's a great way to reconnect with nature and the outdoors. Although who doesn't enjoy a good hike, especially to see Bigfoot. We love our campfire stories while roasting marshmallows and making smores but we also take a strategic and calculated approach to hopefully capturing our elusive cryptid on tape.
There's nothing more important and satisfying in this field of work than to capture raw, un-edited, and real evidence of Bigfoot. We set ourselves up to have the best chance of viewing him in his habitat. You probably are asking yourself what are our techniques and processes we go through to do this. One of our field analysis methods consists of hiking the long axis of our target area close to where we set camp and every 1/4 mile we will place and number game cameras and recorders. We strategically place these video and audio devices in a line creating a virtual Bigfoot trip line. We let them run for 12-24 hours. This gives Bigfoot the privacy and isolation that he desires and us the ability to catch a glimpse of him in his natural habitat.
After we set up our trip line, we will scout the targeted area with a drone and see if there are any thermal or visual images that we can capture of Bigfoot. We will have interactive classes where we teach you how to communicate at a distance with Bigfoot. We will teach you the techniques to communicate both verbally with calls and through wood knocks with our state of the art Bigfoot wood knockers.
We also love nature and enjoy being present in the moment with family, friends, co-workers, and build new relationships out in the Pacific Northwest under beautiful stars and nature's bounty.
It can be exhausting after all that work and we like to huddle our groups together around the campfire and discuss experiencing Bigfoot's bounty amidst the beautiful lush alpine mountain ranges and forests that he inhabits. Spend the night under the stars or enjoy the best of close by accomodations and reconvene in the morning for more adventuring! Come join us on an adventure of a lifetime and prepare yourself to indulge in the glory of the Foot!
Past Boise Bigfoot Expeditions
Wallowa-Whitman National Forest (Bigfoot's Bathtub)
The view up the ridge line and canyon as we make our long 8 mile journey to the legendary and fabled Bigfoot's Bathtub where countless sightings of multiple bigfoots have been recorded.
After a harrowing journey, we finally made it to the infamous Bigfoot Bathtub!
So ecstatically happy, but exhausted, after hours of hiking to reach the mythical Bigfoot's Bathtub. I was so elated!
The 75 ft. Vertical Cliff dropoff to reach the Bigfoot Bathtub
Looking down the trecherous drop right before I suit up with my harness and gather up the muster to make the descent down the cliff side.
Thinking about my younger days when I climbed the more daunting mountains and scaled the cliffsides. Memories came rushing back to me all these years later.
It was like climbing Mount Everest to finally be here in Bigfoot's Bathtub and preparing to anoint myself in his mystical waters!!
It felt so good to finally feel the freezing cold water on my skin! It felt as if I was being baptized again in Bigfoot's magical and mystical waters. What a magical moment and the memories that were made in this incredible journey through the Oregon backcountry.
